Graduate Study

There are about 200 graduate students at St Hilda's College, all of whom are welcomed into a friendly and supportive community. Some of our graduate students will have completed their undergraduate degree at the University of Oxford but most come from elsewhere. Many are from overseas.

We accept students for all courses where we have existing or related activity or expertise, so that College Advisers can supplement the guidance given by your faculty or departmental Supervisors. Graduate applications are made in the first instance to the appropriate University department. Please see the University website about applying for graduate study. You can see the list of courses for graduate study at St Hilda's College on the University of Oxford's website.

St Hilda's has tutorial (and professorial) Fellows in most subjects, as well as Junior Research Fellows and Postdoctoral Fellows. Most Fellows act as faculty or departmental supervisors, as well as College Advisers for St Hilda’s graduate students. You do not have to be at the same college as your supervisor.
