We are dedicated to excellence and equality. Founded in 1893 to promote women's education, we now have equal numbers of men and women students with a diverse range of nationalities.
Together with our outstanding tutors and staff, they form a welcoming, stimulating and caring community.
As of 1 October 2023, the total number of students here was 693: 283 graduate students and 410 undergraduates.
Last summer, 84% of our undergraduate students achieved an upper second class or first class degree in their finals. We are delighted by this and congratulate them all. We also thank our tutors for their invaluable support of our students.
