Oxford Prospects Visiting Student Pathways provide selected students from partner universities with an intensive introduction to Oxford academic life through interdisciplinary study, academic skills development, and cultural engagement.
The programme also offers guidance for students considering future visiting student or postgraduate study.

Academic Pathways
Programmes may include:
- Politics, Philosophy, Economics and Law (PPEL)
- Literature, Language, Digital Culture and Communication Studies (LLD)
- Business, Finance and Management (BFM)
- New Frontiers of Science: Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science and Engineering
- Medical Sciences and related interdisciplinary fields (MS)
Subject content may be tailored in consultation with partner universities.
Future Study Pathways
Students may receive guidance on academic preparation, language requirements, applications, and funding opportunities for future study.
Participation in a short-term programme does not guarantee admission to any future visiting student programme
Outcomes
Students gain:
- experience of Oxford-style learning
- enhanced academic and intercultural skills
- insight into future study opportunities
- a certificate of attendance and programme transcript
Participants do not sit University of Oxford examinations and do not receive a University degree, diploma or other qualification. Credit recognition remains at the discretion of the student's home institution.

Places are normally available only through partner universities.
Becoming a Partner University
Programmes may be developed in partnership with universities seeking a structured Oxford-based academic experience for their students.

Oxford Prospects Stories
Oxford Prospects Stories is the annual collection of reflections from the Oxford Prospects Programmes. Published digitally and in print, this collection celebrates the "intellectual crucible" of our summer on-campus, tutorial online programme, and college-registered one-year visiting programmes.
Each edition features narratives from our alumni, tracing their journeys from the edge of excellence of Oxford to thriving roles across various disciplines and industries. These stories are more than just archives; they are a testament to the enduring resonance of the Oxford academic experience.
