Biography
Adrian joined St Hilda’s College in 2026 as a Non-Stipendiary Lecturer in Medicine.
He is a physician and neuroscientist currently reading for a DPhil in Clinical Neurosciences. Adrian holds a medical degree from Charité-Universitätsmedizin Berlin and gained additional clinical experience through medical electives at Yale School of Medicine and UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology.
His current research focuses on the neurophysiology of human motor learning and the use of closed-loop brain stimulation to optimise motor rehabilitation in stroke survivors with upper-limb impairments.
Previously, Adrian worked in several neuroscience research groups, gaining experience in both human studies and rodent neurobiology.
Adrian enjoys sharing his passion for neurology and neuroscience and, to that end, has served as a volunteer organiser of several neuroscience seminars and events. He has also been selected as an Open Science Ambassador at the Oxford University Centre for Integrative Neuroimaging.
