
The Oxford Future Leaders Programme is your chance to develop the leadership skills, mindset, and values you need to thrive in the 21st century. Over the course of a year, you’ll join a dynamic community of students, mentors, and changemakers dedicated to meaningful impact.

- Learn directly from senior leaders and guest speakers—entrepreneurs, policy experts, civic leaders, artists—who are shaping the world around them.
What’s involved?
- 9 evening workshops (90-minute sessions in weeks 2, 4 & 6 of each term) with hands-on
activities, real-world case studies, and space for discussion. - 3 half-day sessions at the start of each term for cohort-building and big-picture thinking.
- 1:1 mentorship session with College alumni, organised by your College.
- Weekly self-study (~1 hr/week) using the Leading with Character course (co-developed by Oxford Character Project & Harvard’s Human Flourishing Program).
- 360° feedback & strengths profiling to help you lead with clarity and confidence.
- Formal dinners with mentors and guest speakers.
- Final celebration to share what you have learned and where you are going.
The Application
Before applying directly to the programme, you must first seek approval from your tutor. Please complete the form below to notify your tutor of your interest. Once submitted, you can discuss the opportunity with them. If your tutor agrees that participation will not adversely affect your academic work, your application can then proceed.
