Maud Wainwright-Pilton (pictured), who is currently studying English, will go on to study MPhil in Linguistics, Philology and Phonetics at the University of Oxford, in the academic year 2026/27.
The Rosalind Jane Bairstow Bursary is an annual award established in memory of Miss Rosalind Jane Bairstow, an undergraduate at St Hilda’s College in the early 1960s who died tragically young. The funds for the bursary go towards further study for a graduating student.
