We are deeply grateful to all those who support the College’s provision of undergraduate bursaries. St Hilda’s participates in the Oxford Bursary Scheme, a pan-University, means-tested fund, which provides direct financial assistance to UK students from disadvantaged backgrounds. The College’s contribution is amplified through the University’s matching arrangements, creating a powerful multiplier effect that currently triples every pound that is given. Each year, a significant number of St Hilda’s undergraduates benefit from this support.
Within the Oxford Bursary Scheme, the College is pleased to recognise a number of named bursaries established through gifts of alumnae and friends of St Hilda’s. These dedicated contributions are pooled within the wider bursary fund, enhancing the overall impact of the scheme while commemorating those whose names they bear. Through this shared support, the generosity of individual donors continues to extend meaningful opportunities to students who might otherwise face financial barriers to study.
