St Hilda’s College seeks to appoint a full-time Library Assistant from 11 August or as soon as possible thereafter.
The Library Assistant acts as the first point of contact for students using the College library, at the issue desk, by email and on social media. They support the Librarian and Deputy Librarian in all activities associated with a busy academic library but are especially involved in book acquisitions.
To succeed in this role, a candidate would require strong written and verbal communication skills, experience in a customer-facing role and to be able to work flexibly as part of a team.
