Biography
Dr Stephen Goddard teaches various topics in modern French literature (19th and 20th centuries) for St Hilda's, with occasional teaching of language classes and first year literary topics.
His thesis was entitled 'Flaubert and the literature of classical antiquity', and he retains a research interest in the 19th century French novel and in the reception of classical literature and culture in France.
