Broadly, my scientific goal is to achieve a better understanding of the structural and functional organisation of the brain at a systems level.

My current research interests include:

(i)  mathematical modelling of diffusion weighted MR;

(ii) comparisons of in-vivo, ex-vivo, and histological techniques in humans and non-human primates;

(iii) human-macaque comparative anatomy;

(iv) modelling detailed microstructure with novel MR pulse sequences;

(v) modelling the topographic organisation of brain connections and their relationship to brain function;

(vi) models of individual variation in brain function.
