Biography
Her main area of research is Greek religion, but she has also written on Homer, Greek tragedy and classical and renaissance Latin. She is the author of 'The Heroes of Attica' and 'Ancient Greek Religion: A Sourcebook'. She is currently completing a commentary on Euripides' drama Iphigenia among the Taurians for the Cambridge 'green and yellow' series of classical texts, and working on a book about blood in the ancient world.
