APPLICATIONS HAVE NOW CLOSED FOR THE JUNE 2024 OPEN DAYS
Thank you for applying to be a Student Ambassador for the St Hilda's contribution to the University-wide open day on 26 and 27 June 2024. We expect to need ambassadors from 7:45am - 5:00pm on both days.
The role involves being a friendly face to offer-holding students, providing tours of the College, talking with prospective students about your subject area, talking about social life at Oxford and answering questions. You will be provided with further advice, guidance and support closer to the time, including a 30-60 minute, paid, online training session on the 25 June.
Payment will be £12.00 per hour per hour plus statutory holiday pay (£1.44 per hour). Breakfast, lunch and dinner will also be provided. We have a limited amount of overnight accommodation for the nights of the 25th and 26th, available free of charge to ambassadors.
Please note applications will be considered both on the basis of relevant experience and with a view to having a range of subjects and year groups represented. We will be giving priority to trained St Hilda's ambassadors, and those who worked the offer holders' visit day in February. We will also give preference to those who are available to work both days.
