We are delighted to announce that two distinguished Fellows of St Hilda's College have been conferred new professorial titles by the University of Oxford, following this year’s Recognition of Distinction exercise.
Maya Tudor, St Hilda's College Fellow in Politics, has been awarded the title of Professor of Politics and Public Policy. This recognition, awarded after careful consideration by the Social Sciences Divisional Recognition of Distinction Committee, acknowledges Professor Tudor's outstanding contributions to their field.
In a similar exercise, Catherine Swales, St Hilda's College Fellow in Medical Education, has been conferred the title of Professor of Medical Education. The Divisional Distinctions Committee, chaired by the Head of Division, carefully reviewed the application and recommended this new title, in recognition of Professor Swales' significant contributions to medical education.
We extend our warmest congratulations to both Professor Tudor and Professor Swales for their well-deserved awards and are proud to have such esteemed academics within the St Hilda's College fold.
