Please tell us whether or not you have any disability or long-term health condition that may affect your work or life at St Hilda's. The University of Oxford is committed to making reasonable adjustments to enable disabled students or students with long-term health conditions to participate fully in student life.
In order to provide study support, relevant departments and colleges or the University may share information about your needs. Information will be shared on a need-to-know basis with people in relevant departments and college, such as departmental and academic administrators, lecturers and tutors who will teach you, and relevant library and support staff.
Meals are available in the Dining Hall on both a self-service and formal served basis. Please tell us about any dietary requirements you have.
From time to time St Hilda's commissions still or film photography to be taken, or receives submissions of photographs or film from College Members, for use in the College's publicity materials, including the College's printed publications (which may also be published online), its website and its social media accounts.
Please indicate whether or not you consent to any such images in which you appear being used for College publicity materials. If you give consent, you have the option to withdraw it at any time by contacting the Head of Communications.
The ways in which St Hilda's processes your personal data while you are a student, including our lawful basis for processing, are explained in the St Hilda's Student Privacy Notice. This document explains that as a student some of your data may be processed for the purposes of legitimate interests, including the publication of the St Hilda's Chronicle.
As a student your name may be included in the Chronicle when you receive a College or University prize or if you achieve a First Class result in your degree. If you would prefer this information not to be published, please advise the Development Office.
We are required by the UK Home Office to obtain a copy of the visa/immigration status for all non-UK students (excludes Irish nationals and those with indefinite leave to remain) and to check that you have a visa/immigration status that allows you to study before you can be enrolled at Oxford.
If you have an online eVisa, or pre-settled/settled status you will need to generate a sharecode at this link: https://www.gov.uk/view-prove-immigration-status and enter it into the box below.
If you have any other type of visa, or if you are able to extend your visa in the UK (e.g. moving from another UK college/university to Oxford) we can accept evidence of a submitted visa application for Oxford to allow you to enrol. Please upload a copy below.
If you are starting a second (new) course at Oxford you must apply for a new visa before you begin or by 19 November 2025 at the latest even if your current Oxford visa expires later.
If you are outside the UK, you must have your visa approved before you travel to the UK. You cannot arrive as a visitor and switch to a student visa in the UK as you would be refused entry to the UK, could not be enrolled on course and would need to return home immediately.
If your visa is delayed, contact the University Student Immigration Team or your department.
We know this is an additional requirement for you and there can be visa delays sometimes, but failure to do this means we are not permitted by the UK Government to let you commence your studies and we cannot make any exceptions. We are providing you this advance notice so there are no delays or enrolment issues when you arrive and so you can start the course on time.
