Lodge Receptionist

Would you like to be the first friendly face to welcome people to St Hilda’s College?

Join a team that makes St Hilda’s College feel like home. As our new Lodge Receptionist, you’ll be one of the first people to greet and assist our students, visitors, and guests. We are looking for a naturally warm, customer-focused individual to join our small Lodge team and help us maintain our reputation as a welcoming place to live, work, and visit.

The Lodge is the focal hub and first point of contact for St Hilda’s College. It is a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. As a Lodge Receptionist, you will answer varied enquiries, support daily arrivals, and work closely with teams across the College.

We are looking for someone who:
• Communicates with clarity and thrives under pressure.
• Genuinely enjoys finding practical ways to help our College community.
• Is a strong team player but equally confident using their own initiative.
• Brings a flexible approach to duties and working hours.

Working hours:
Lodge shifts are 7.00am–3.00pm or 3.00pm–11.00pm, with rotas arranged in advance.
You will occasionally be asked to work an overnight shift to cover days off and holiday, 11.00pm–7.00am, which is paid at an enhanced rate.

Please see the job description for full details of the role and the benefits offered by the College.
