An intimate and evocative concert tracing cycles of memory, transformation, and childhood. At its centre is Living Ghosts, a new multimedia piece by Kenneth Hesketh combining live chamber music, mechanical sound and stop-motion animation, in haunting meditation on life’s passing cycles. Alongside this world première are striking solo and chamber works by Luís Tinoco, Lara Poe, and Arlene Sierra. Miniatures by Haydn, Kurtág, and Takemitsu complete a delicate, reflective programme shaped by echoes, play, and poetic fragments.
This concert will be accompanied by a short pre-concert talk and a post-performance Q&A with the composer and collaborators.
Pre-Concert Talk: 7.15pm-7.30pm
Concert: 7.45pm-8.45pm
Post-Concert Q & A: 8.50pm-9.15pm
