Doctors' Surgery (Weeks 1-8):

The College Doctor, Dr Antony Maddison, will be running in person clinics in college on Thursday afternoons. To make an appointment, you should ring the Banbury Road Medical Centre on 01865 515731 and specify that you are a student at St Hilda’s. Alternatively, you can email reception at BRMC

Nurse's Drop-in Surgery (Weeks 0-9):

The College Nurse, Caroline Smith, will be running in person clinics in College on three weekdays each week and will be online for the other two days. If you wish to make an appointment, you should email her and she will respond during her working hours, as listed below during term (Weeks 0-9 inclusive). She is available for general consultation as well as providing help on specific medical matters.   • Mondays - 12.30pm - 3.30pm (in person)
  • Tuesdays - 10.00am - 1.00pm (in person)
  • Wednesdays - 9.30am - 12.30pm (online)
  • Thursdays - 10.00am - 1.00pm (online)
  • Fridays - 10.00am - 1.00pm (in person)

College Counsellor (Weeks 1-8):

The College Counsellor, Robin Steel, is on-site on Thursdays each week, Weeks 0-9. Appointments can be made by contacting her at Any student may also contact the University Counselling Service to arrange an appointment.

Students seeking general help or advice may always consult their Personal Tutor or College Adviser. The Welfare Officer is available three hours each weekday, Weeks 0-9, and may be contacted for appointments at Her hours are:
