St Hilda's College Student Ambassador Scheme

What does being a student ambassador involve?

The opportunity to take part in paid opportunities such as the Open Day (July and September) and Offer Holder Day (March). Here the ambassadors are pivotal for being a friendly face and making students feel at ease, alongside giving subject specific advice.

Taking part in a few school visits per term. Schools (Year 10-12 students) visit the College approximately once a week during term time, receiving a presentation demystifying Oxford and an academic taster session to give them a sense of what Oxford teaching is like. Student ambassadors are needed from 11:30am-1:00pm, where they will take part in a Q&A session, tour students around the College, and eat lunch (for free) sat with the students.

An invitation to a free formal dinner on the rooftop terrace as a thank you for completing numerous school visits and helping to promote the College.
