Alumnae, friends and a guest are warmly invited to join our special celebration to mark the 35th anniversary since the American Friends of St Hilda’s was founded with the help of Joanna Semel Rose (1952) and the profound impact that this has had on the College. It will be our first significant event in the USA since the pandemic and is an ideal opportunity to hear directly from the Principal about the vibrancy of St Hilda’s today, its strategic priorities for the coming years and to inaugurate the College’s associated campaign to realise that vision.
The event will take place at the Harvard Club of New York City, 35 West 44th Street, NY 10036 on Thursday October 17, beginning with a Cocktail Reception at 7pm and Dinner at 8pm. Dress code is Business Attire.
The American Friends Leadership Committee has kindly covered the costs of staging the evening so that any funds raised in connection with the event can go towards College priorities. We are therefore pleased to invite alumnae and their partner to join us as guests of the College. This especially includes alumnae who matriculated this century as we look to develop the widest possible St Hilda’s network in the States.
Places are limited and so please do reserve your seats as soon as possible, and by September 24 latest. To book, please fill in the form below.
If you are in a position to make a donation, this can be done via www.st-hildas.ox.ac.uk/givingUSA. Thank you.
The Leadership Committee is always looking to expand in scope across the whole of the USA, and Canada, so please do get in touch with Sarah Teale if you would like to learn more about how you can become involved.
