Oxford Improvisers are one of the UK’s premiere free improvisation groups, having been established in 2001 to continue the work of the Oxford Improvisers’ Collective in the 1980s. Committed to principles of diversity, the group strives to allow each participant to bring their own tapestry of musical heritage and persuasions to bear, promoting an enjoyment of creative music making in the moment.
