The St Hilda's Brain and Mind Series of workshops continues this year with the theme of 'Physical and mental health'.
The workshop on 'Movement, Sport and the Brain will take place on Tuesday, 5th May. 2026, 5pm-7.15pm, in the Jacqueline du Pre Music Building, St Hilda's College. It will investigate the topic of movement, sport and the brain from the points of view of philosophy (Prof. David Papineau, Kings College London), psychology (Prof. Lucy Bowes, Oxford University), and neuroscience (Prof. Astrid Zech, Friedrich Schiller University Jena, Germany). The talks will be followed by a Q&A. session.
'Movement, Sport and the Brain' is an in-person event, where all are welcome. It is free, but booking is required.
