This talk- delivered by the Outreach Officer at St Hilda's College, Oxford- focuses on introducing pupils to the University of Oxford, the courses and societies it has to offer, and the application process. It includes information on financial support available at the University, the practicalities of picking a course and a college, and illustrates practical ways in which pupils can engage with their subjects outside the classroom. Advice on choosing A Level/IB subjects is also offered.
This talk is for those in years 10 or 11 at local state schools. Schools are welcome to book up to 20 tickets per talk. Teachers and students each require a ticket. Each group must include at least one teacher/member of school staff.
There is plenty of parking available at this venue.
