2026 Come & Sing!

Fauré's Requiem, led by Dr Jonathan Williams

Date
7 March 2026 / 6-10pm

The Choir and Orchestra of St Hilda's College invite you to come along – as singer or supporter – to our 11th annual Come & Sing! We will celebrate this happy occasion by singing Fauré's Requiem, led by Dr Jonathan Williams, Director of Music. Festivities will continue after the concert when alumnae are welcome to join us to dine together in the Dining Hall.

The number of singers will be limited to around 30 alumnae singers to join the 50 students who sing every week, so please sign up as soon as you can (a waiting-list may have to operate this year).

Alumnae who'd like to take part in the concert are asked to arrive at College for 2pm for a rehearsal. The concert will begin in the University Church at 6pm, followed by a Music Banquet in the Pavilion should you wish to join us. We ask that all singers please wear Concert Dress: all black or dark suit/dinner jacket with white shirt and black bow tie.

PDFs of the score are available to download here. Hard copies will be available on the day and pre-existing published vocal scores will be compatible provided they contain rehearsal letters or bar numbers.

All St Hilda's College students are most welcome to come along for free to watch the concert in the University Church at 6pm.
