Sarah Morris and Nick Guthrie: Sue Lloyd-Roberts’ 'The War On Women'
The St Hilda's College Writers' Day at the Oxford Literary Festival will take place at Worcester College.
Sue Lloyd Roberts MBE, pioneering video-journalist and reporter for ITN and the BBC, died of leukaemia in October 2015. Sue began writing 'The War on Women' after realising that, during her 30 years of human rights reporting, the majority of her efforts to draw attention to injustice and suffering had involved women. Her daughter and BBC journalist Sarah Morris completed her mother’s last book, and discusses it here with Sue’s husband, BBC producer Nick Guthrie.
Chair: Sue Saville (Broadcast & Medical Journalist; former ITV News Medical Correspondent).
Tickets: £12.50. Book here.
