College Clinical Lecturer in Surgery
Luckshman Bavan is an orthopaedic surgeon training within the Oxford region. He completed his undergraduate medical training at Imperial College London in 2010, graduating with distinction. He has also obtained a BSc (Hons) in Surgery and Anaesthesia.
Luckshman began his surgical training in Oxford after becoming a member of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2012. He specialises in orthopaedic and trauma surgery, but has also undertaken training posts in general, vascular and plastic surgery.
Luckshman has a dedicated interest in education and has been involved in surgical training at both an undergraduate and postgraduate level. He has worked as an anatomy demonstrator for the medical sciences department and was appointed as a clinical lecturer in surgery at St Hilda’s College in 2014.
