More Information for Teachers
All Oxford colleges have signed up to a Common Framework on Admissions which means the same application process and criteria for each course, at every college.
To help provide students with the right kind of support, we encourage teachers to sign up to our comprehensive e-guide, which helpfully includes information about all aspects of the application process and how you can support your students through each stage.

Deadlines and Submissions
The UCAS application deadline is 15 October. Most tests must also be registered for by this date. You can find out here which tests are required for which subjects and their registration dates. Some courses will also require written work; this must be submitted to the college processing your application before the deadline. Please check your subject area’s requirements.
Supporting your Students
Because the university recognises the key role that teachers and careers advisers play in encouraging students to consider their options and make informed decisions, we also run regional teacher conferences. During conferences we welcome the chance to talk with teachers and advisers about supporting your students through all aspects of considering, and applying to, Oxford. Sign up to attend the next conference in your region.
We understand that attending conferences is not always possible and as such have produced a series of videos to help both students and teachers navigate the Oxford Application system. There is a variety of other online resources aimed at students and teachers. You can find links and support here.
Our Outreach Officer is also available for school visits and can offer in person advice and information to teachers who have a role in guiding students to make applications to Oxford and other universities. Please make contact to book a talk with your teachers.
