Our alumnus Michael Angerer (English, 2021) has been awarded the 2022 Turville-Petre Prize by the Viking Society for Northern Research. The prize is awarded annually to the student at the University of Oxford who has best distinguished themself in the field of Old Norse studies.

Michael completed his MSt in English Literature 650-1550 at St Hilda's earlier this year and is now pursuing his DPhil at Corpus Christi College.
