Jacqueline Tammenoms Bakker - History and Modern Languages, 1972
Mrs. Jacqueline Tammenoms Bakker is a businesswoman who joined Shell International in 1977, holding a variety of positions in the Netherlands, the U.K. and Turkey. She then joined McKinsey & Co in 1989, working as a consultant; and from 1995 to 1998, she was Vice-President Foods (Europe) for Quest International (a Unilever subsidiary).
In 1999, Jacqueline moved to the public sector in 1999, serving from 1999 to 2001 as director of Gigaport, an initiative to accelerate the introduction of broadband Internet in the Netherlands. From 2001 to 2007 she was a Director General at the Ministry of Transport in the Netherlands, and from 2006 to 2007 she was Chairwoman of the High Level Group for the future of aviation regulation in Europe, reporting to the EU Commissioner for Transport.
