What’s the best thing about St Hilda’s?
Personally, I think that the best thing about St Hilda's is its feminist history and integrity. Before coming to Oxford I was anxious about the 'Old boys' type environment and being surrounded by the same atmosphere of privileged old men. To be sat in a dining room filled with pictures of successful women is a breath of fresh air. I believe that because of this, St Hilda's is a much warmer and friendlier place to be.

What’s your favourite place in College and why?
My favourite place in College is the lawn in front of Hall building. The view of the river and city from here is spectacular, especially on a cold winter morning.

If you could raise money for one thing to help students what would it be?
The one thing I would like to raise money for in particular is travel grants. In my personal experience, traveling has offered me so many enriching opportunities but now, as an independent adult, I find my ability to explore to world increasingly restricted by financial factors. The same is true for many other students here. The travel grants offered by College offer us a wealth of opportunities which I am hugely appreciative of.

Why should alumnae give to St Hilda’s?
I believe that alumnae should give money to St Hilda's to fund opportunities for the students and assist those in financial hardship.

Can you give an example of an activity or event run by the JCR that you have particularly enjoyed?
I have particularly enjoy the 'Thursday Night Live' music events that have been hosted in the student bar space. The musical and sound system equipment that we have access to has facilitated wonderful performances which have brought the College community together!
