Dr David Howey is a speaker at the 46th Maurice Lubbock Memorial Lecture

The 46th Maurice Lubbock Memorial Lecture will focus on three scientists - Tutorial Fellow at St Hilda's, Dr David Howey, Dr Amanda Smyth,  and Professor Malcolm McCulloch - and their work to help develop green and renewable energy covering tidal technology, improving performances of batteries and developing a sustainable energy system for the 21st century.

The Maurice Lubbock Memorial Lecture was founded in 1963 by the Trustees of the Hon. Maurice Fox Pitt Lubbock commemoration fund, to promote the study of engineering and its applications to which Maurice Lubbock's career was devoted.
