A Celebration of Philosophy
St Hilda's will be hosting a one-day celebration in honour of Dr Anita Avramides. Dr Avramides officially retired from St Hilda’s in 2020, having been the Southover Manor Trust Fellow and Tutor in Philosophy since 1990.
This event will be a celebration of Dr Avramides' long career in Philosophy, and her absolutely central role in the College. We invite you to come back to St Hilda's to join us for a conference hosted in our new Roof Garden Suite from 11am - 6pm, with spectacular views of Oxford. The day will feature sessions given by some of Dr Avramides' former students and colleagues, followed by a drinks reception.
