Career Development Fellow in Comparative and International Politics
St Hilda’s College invites applications for a Career Development Fellowship in Comparative and International Politics for four years from 1 October 2019. The post-holder will be required to engage in research, to offer an average of 6.5 hours per week tutorial teaching for the college in the field of comparative and international politics, and to play a central role in Politics and joint degree admissions and subject administration at St Hilda’s. Applicants will have completed a doctorate but be at an early stage of their academic career, and should have some relevant teaching experience. There is no possibility of renewal beyond 30 September 2023.
The appointee will be paid on a scale from £32,236 (point 1) to £35,211 (point 4) per annum (University Grade 7, current rates), depending on experience. The successful candidate will also receive a research allowance of £1,300 per annum and an entertainment allowance of £235 per annum. The appointee will be a member of the Senior Common Room, entitled to all meals in St Hilda’s College.
