BAFTAs nominations for St Hilda's Alumnae
The best British TV of 2019 nominations for the Bafta Television Awards include television programmes directed and written by two of St Hilda's alumnae.
The Family Secret, a True Vision Yorkshire film directed by Anna Hall (English, 1987), has received a nomination for Best Single Documentary.
The End of the F***king World, adapted for the screen by Charlie Covell (English, 2003) has been nominated for Best Drama Series. Naomi Ackie has also received a nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her part in the series.
