Apply to UNIQ, the University’s access and outreach programme

The University of Oxford is currently accepting applications for its flagship access and outreach programme, UNIQ. Designed to support students with good grades from backgrounds that are under-represented at Oxford, UNIQ helps students prepare for university, explore different subjects, and discover what life is like as an Oxford student.
Starting from April, the hybrid course will provide online support over several months, guiding students through academic exploration and university applications, as well as a residential in Oxford for the majority of students in the summer.
We are delighted to be hosting two weeks of the summer residential at St Hilda’s, thanks to a generous donation from alumna Jayne Almond (PPE, 1975). By staying in College, UNIQ students will get a taste of the full Oxford experience, supported throughout by helpful student ambassadors.
UNIQ is a free programme which has proven hugely successful; a third of those who apply get offered places at Oxford. Make your quick and easy application online today at UNIQ - University of Oxford. Applications for 2023 close on Monday 23 January.
“I had an amazing time on UNIQ, and it allowed me to become confident that not only was I capable of getting to Oxford but I would be able to succeed and enjoy myself there.”
“UNIQ was an amazing week of discovering more about my subject of interest and exploring topics never covered at A level. It gave me loads of resources to mention and read further for my personal statement and interview, as well as opportunities to ask current students how they found Oxford life, and their course, and meet other prospective Oxford students!”
