2020 Green Gaudy

See individual times

Whilst we are sad not to be celebrating on the banks of the Cherwell with you all, and especially with the Reunion Groups, we aim to create a great Gaudy event for everyone. This year we will be celebrating a green Gaudy. From global ecology, to the College gardens, to your ailing aspidistra, we'll be bringing the great outdoors to your home.

An English Country Garden: The College Grounds, a history in bloom

As the new buildings continue to take root in the landscape of our beautiful College Grounds, we dig into the history of our magnificent gardens to unearth their stories. From the Rose Garden to the Suffragette Border; the South Garden Rockery to the fritillaries of the Meadow our Garden Consultant, Walter Sawyer, in conversation with Dr Sarah Watkinson, will delve into the archives to reveal how the gardens have evolved before bringing us up-to-date with the rejuvenation our unique and much-loved riverside landscape.
