2019 Gaudy and Reunions

Join us for this year's Gaudy celebrations weekend!

This year the Gaudy’s theme St Hilda’s and the Performing Arts, celebrating the work of alumnae on stage and screen, in music and comedy, and more.

We have a glittering array of alumnae speaking and performing, including award-winning, Oscar-nominated film producer, Celine Rattray, stage and screen actor and writer, Pooky Quesnel,  and composer and performer, Ruth Chan

As well as this we have reunions taking place, an update on the building project and, of course, the not-to-be-missed Gaudy Dinner which this year will bring a touch of the 'Oscars' to Oxford.

Friday 20th September
5.30pm Registration opens  
6.30-8pm Buffet supper (all non-reunion)  
7pm for 7.30pm 50th Reunion Reception & Dinner (1969)

12.30pm Buffet Lunch for All & 1950s Reunion (1950-1958)  
1.30pm Principal’s Presentation with Updates on the new College buildings project & campaign  
2.30 – 3.30pm Ruth Chan (Music, 1997) Composing for Stage and Screen

4pm – 5pm In Conversation with film producer Celine Rattray (Mathematics, 1993)
The Hurdles and Joys of Independent Filmmaking, in a male dominated field

7.30pm Gaudy Gala Fundraising Dinner
& 10th Reunion (2009)

After Dinner Speaker – actor and screen writer Pooky Quesnel (English, 1982)
Second Dessert – with special guests TBA. Dress: Black Tie/Hollywood.
 

 

This Gaudy weekend is organised by the Development and Alumnae Office, which seeks to raise funds and build relationships to support the College. Proceeds from the reunions and the Gala dinner will go to the 125th Anniversary Fund.

Those intending to stay in College are advised to book early to avoid disappointment.
