Jonathan made a fantastic Oxford debut at the JdP last year, and we are looking forward to his second performance – this time of Schumann, Janáček, and Berg. He is especially noted for his playing of Schumann, and has written of the composer - "People have often shown impatience with Schumann's meanderings. What a great pity. For Schumann's wanderings lead us to emotional spaces we don't normally dare to go, for fear that we may never find our way back".
