Our College Open Days will provide you with an invaluable opportunity to view the College grounds; hear talks by tutors in the subject you are thinking of studying; and gather information about Admissions, the interview process and life at St Hilda’s. Prospective applicants for all subjects offered by the College are welcome to attend these events. Details of our College Open Days in 2012 will be posted here in due course. You will be able to book a place by submitting an electronic booking form via our College website. Russian Open DayWe should like to draw your attention to one of the Medieval & Modern Languages Faculty Open Day events, which is taking place at St Hilda's this Spring. The Sub-Faculty of Russian & Other Slavonic Languages is holding its annual Open Day on Saturday 3 March 2012 at the College for teachers and students who would like to know more about how the subject is taught and studied at the University. The day will include a taster session for students, information talks and a Q&A session. Please see the invitation letter and programme for further details. Russian is one of the languages that can be started from scratch. Oxford graduates in Russian go on to careers in a diverse range of fields including law, finance, the Foreign Office, international organizations (like the UN Development Programme or Amnesty Russia), journalism, and the arts.
