'Mothers in Science: 64 ways to have it all

St Hilda's Physics Fellows Professor Julia Yeomans and Professor Amanda Cooper-Sarkar are both profiled in the Royal Society publication: 'Mothers in Science: 64 ways to have it all'.  Former Fellows, Professor Judy Armitage (Biochemistry) and Professor Alison Rodger (Chemistry) and former student Dr Sally Day (Physics) are also profiled.

This book is the result of a project, by Professor Ottoline Leyser FRS, winner of the 2007 Rosalind Franklin Award, which involved constructing timelines of the lives of female scientists working in all areas of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).  Copies of the book are on display in the Library and the Development Office, or can be obtained from the Royal Society, 6-9 Carlton House Terrace, London SW1Y 5AG.
