Professor Irene M Moroz

MA, PhD (Leeds)

Teaching

Tutorial Fellow in Mathematics, St Hilda's College
Professor of Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, Mathematical Institute

Irene Moroz has been Applied Mathematics Fellow at St. Hilda's College since 1992 and is now the Senior Mathematics Fellow.

Research

Irene Moroz's research interests lie in the bifurcation theory of nonlinear ordinary and partial differential equations, arising in geophysical fluid mechanics, time series analysis, dynamo theory and voice morphing. She is a member of the Mathematical Geoscience Group (MGG) in the Oxford Centre for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (OCIAM), as well as heading the Applied Dynamical Systems group. She has over 75 published articles and is a member of the LMS.
