College Lecturer in Philosophy

Manuel Dries received his PhD from the University of Cambridge in 2007. Before taking up a permanent lectureship in the Department of Philosophy at The Open University he held a Junior Research Fellowship (2007–10) and a Research Fellowship (2010–13) at Wolfson College and the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Oxford. He remains an affiliated member of Oxford’s Faculty of Philosophy and College Lecturer at St. Hilda’s College. His primary interests are in post-Kantian European philosophy, ethics, aesthetics, and the philosophy of mind.
