Dr Cendon Bóveda holds an MA in Development Management and Policy from Georgetown University and a Ph.D. in Political Science from Yale.

Dr Cendon Bóveda has been a Max Weber Fellow at the European University Institute, and has worked as a consultant for the InterAmerican Development Bank.

Her teaching and research cut across Comparative Politics and International Relations. She is primarily interested in the origins and consequences of political institutions, financial crises, democratization, political parties, and Latin American politics.
