The St Hilda’s Development Office is looking to recruit a full-time, Deputy Director, Development and Alumnae Relations to join our friendly and supportive team. The post-holder will be joining the College at an exciting time – following the opening of our new award-winning buildings last September and with the preparations for the next phase of our successful fundraising campaign, Building the Future, already underway.

Relationships with alumnae, donors and friends of the College are at the heart of our development programme and the new post will take the lead in developing initiatives to nurture these relationships, helping us widen our donor base and improve our connections to and communications with all key groups to support the College’s development strategy.

Whether you are coming from an alumni relations background or a stewardship and individual giving role, this is an excellent opportunity to advance your career and bring fresh ideas to shape our programme as we embark on a major new development strategy.

To succeed in this role, you will have experience in educational fundraising and alumni relations and communications or similar areas that involve managing important relationships. You will enjoy working with distinguished individuals who contribute to the success of our events and fundraising and the challenges of working in a busy team. You will be keen to take on a varied workload and bring fresh ideas to our programme.

Applications should include the following documents:

  • Completed Application Form
  • CV
  • Letter of application explaining your interest in the post and how you meet the selection criteria.

Your application should be sent to Susan Vickery, HR Manager at recruitment@st-hildas.ox.ac.uk.

The deadline for applications is Monday 17 January 2022 at 5.00pm and we expect to hold interviews in the week commencing  Monday 24 January.
