What’s the best thing about St Hilda’s? The ethos and collective spirit of the College is my favourite aspect of aspect of it. It makes me feel welcome and part of a community, and fosters an inclination within me to give something back to the College.

Where is your favourite place in College and why? My favourite place in College is the grand wooden staircase in Hall building, on the way to the Library. Its tall ceiling and decoration with incredible portraits (including one of John Locke) makes for a really impressive room.

If you could raise money for one thing to help students what would it be? I would raise money for the student bursaries and grants. As a student from a low-income background, I appreciate how important such provisions are, and how much of a positive impact they can have on a student’s time here.

What are you most looking forward to in the telethon? I'm most looking forward to talking to alumnae about their time at St Hilda's, and how they found the College during their time here.

What did you most enjoy about your last telethon? I most enjoyed hearing about people's experiences upon leaving St Hilda's. As a student at the end of my time in College, I'm looking onwards now, so hearing what other people did is, in a sense, reassuring.
