If you are required to come to Oxford in December we will send you a formal invitation. We will make every effort to dispatch the invitation to interview in good time for you to make the necessary travel arrangements; usually we aim to provide a week’s notice, but please note that in some cases this may not be possible. We would therefore advise you to check the scheduled date of interviews for your course when you are applying so that you have an idea about dates when you might be required to attend an interview, if shortlisted. For UK students meeting the eligibility criteria for financial hardship, there is a scheme to fund interview travel, more details will be included in the interview invitation.

To view the interview timetable by course, please see the University’s published timetable.

Please note that candidates may not be required to be in Oxford for the full time shown for their subject in this timetable. Further details will be available closer to the time.

Candidates will also find guidance on the shortlisting process and preparation for interviews here.

All candidates resident in the UK, the European Economic Area (EU, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein) and Switzerland are expected to come to Oxford for interview in December if shortlisted. Candidates (with the exception of those applying for Medicine) who are resident outside the EEA and Switzerland should let the College know whether they will be able to come to Oxford for interview in December if shortlisted. Further details about how and when to do this will be available nearer the time. The college may interview international candidates who cannot come to Oxford via Skype. Please read the information about the interview arrangements for international applicants here.

Candidates who have been interviewed will be informed of the outcome of their application on 9th January 2019. All candidates will be notified of the decision via UCAS and by the College via email.
