St Hilda's College community welcomed Ajahn Amaro for the ceremony of offering the Buddha-image for our multi-faith space, the Sanctuary.

Ajahn Amaro, a Theravāda Buddhist monk and teacher and abbot of the Amaravati Buddhist Monastery was introduced by our Chaplain, Meryem Kalayci, and Acting Principal, Dr Georgina Paul. The Ceremony was attended by College members and guests, who we were very happy to see at St Hilda's. It was followed by traditional music performed by The Oxford Gamelan Society in the Pavilion and by a reception.
